I was up in the Cambridge area Monday evening to Wednesday morning: rain, rain – and gales. Getting home (well away from there) I emailed my local BBC weather man to ask why we were told that it was reported as “showers” with blustery winds, and he seemed oblivious to the truth (the Met Office web site supported me). Today the national weather man said “rain”. Some reality at last!Have a good trip.
