Local Lib Dems have welcomed another step forward in the battle for a new bus route linking Muswell Hill, Highgate, Hampstead and Swiss Cottage.

The three boroughs involved in the route (Haringey, Camden and Barnet) are this week starting detailed planning on three possible routes for the new bus link. This follows the award of £50,000 for the detailed design and implementation of the scheme announced in March.

The three possible routes will be whittled down to one proposal, which will then go out for public consultation.
